This session will highlight how meaningfully engaging different population groups (including women, youth, older persons, persons with disabilities, indigenous peoples, migrants and refugees, and people living in poverty and in rural and remote areas) in local or subnational reviews can address key social challenges faced today, strengthening participatory processes, bridging sectoral divides, ensuring no one is left behind and resulting in joint action to build a more just, inclusive and sustainable world.
