Changements sur "Gouvernance multiniveaux et finances : comment les VLR et les VSR redéfinissent la décentralisation et la mise en œuvre collective des ODD"

🎯 Description: 

The first VLR-VSR Days 2025 session will showcase how VLRs and VSRs are driving more inclusive, responsive and accountable governance by bringing the perspectives, knowledge and innovation of local and regional governments into the heart of SDG implementation. The session will highlight how these reviews are helping build stronger multilevel coordination, improving the quality of data and planning, and creating new spaces for dialogue between levels of government. At the same time, it will demonstrate why stronger and more effective decentralization is essential to fully harness this local potential — ensuring that all territories and communities are empowered with the means and mandate to drive sustainable development. Drawing on outcomes from the FfD4 and preparing for the HLPF, the session will identify next steps to deepen political and institutional recognition of LRGs as critical actors in delivering the SDGs through whole-of-government and whole-of-society approaches.
