Logistics

We invite each and every member of your delegation to confirm attendance to the Executive Bureau, be it in-person or online. You can fill in the registration form by 31 March 2026.
 

All the logistical information you need is detailed in the information note for in-person participation, and can be summarized as follows:

📍 Venues

For logistical reasons, our hosts are now proposing to hold the meetings as follows:

 ·  Meetings on Wednesday (by invitation only): Antiguo Palacio del Ayuntamiento (Former City Hall), Plaza de la Constitución 2, Centro Histórico.

The venue is located at a 3-minute walk from the two main hotels (NH Collection and Umbral Curio Hilton). Both meetings will be held in room “Salón Zurco” on the ground floor.

 ·  Opening Ceremony and Policy debate, Thursday morning: Teatro de la Ciudad.

Our hosts will provide transportation to and from the venue (see details below).

 ·  Committee on Statutory Affairs (Thursday afternoon) and Executive Bureau (Friday morning): both meetings remain in Museo de la Ciudad, as initially planned.

The Museum is located at a 7-minute walk from the two main hotels.  Teams from Mexico City Will be in the lobbies of both hotels to accompany participants.
 

Transport

 As mentioned above, our hosts will provide transportation on Thursday, to take participants to and from the venue of the Opening.

 Shuttles will be in front of the NH Hotel, and will depart at 8:45 and 9:15.

Our hosts in Mexico City have blocked a limited number of rooms in the following hotel at a negotiated rate:

 -      Hotel NH Collection Mexico City Centro Histórico, 42 Palma St., Historic Center of Mexico City, Centro, Cuauhtémoc, 06000 Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico.

🛂 Visa

In case you need a visa to enter Mexico, we recommend that you start this process as soon as possible. The team in Mexico City is ready to assist you in this process: should you need a personalized invitation letter for visa purposes, please send an email to MaFer Rivera (r.mfernanda@cdmx.gob.mx), copying cgai@jefatura.cdmx.gob.mx and InstitutionalAffairs@uclg.org.
