In a time of complexity in the multilateral movement, 2026 provides us with a moment to collectively articulate our positioning, redefine the architecture of public service delivery, and prepare to speak with one voice in the post-2030 negotiation process. Aligning with key intergovernmental moments — the World Urban Forum, the UCLG Congress and World Summit of Local and Regional Leaders, and the 2026 High-Level Political Forum and the review of SDG 11, the UCLG Retreat is the space to announce the structured process of 100 Days of Local Multilateralism. The process will begin on April 21 — World Creativity and Innovation Day, and conclude on July 30, 2026, converging into a single collective agenda that channels the political will and diverse vision of our communities.
The session on the 100 days of local multilateralism will bring together representatives from our constituency to discuss the milestones of the 100 days of local multilateralism, and work together to strengthen our joint positions.

En un momento de complejidad en el movimiento multilateral, 2026 nos brinda la oportunidad de articular colectivamente nuestro posicionamiento, redefinir la arquitectura de la prestación de servicios públicos y prepararnos para hablar con una sola voz en el proceso de negociación posterior a 2030. En consonancia con momentos intergubernamentales clave —el Foro Urbano Mundial, el Congreso y Cumbre Mundial de Líderes Locales y Regionales de CGLU, el Foro Político de Alto Nivel de 2026 y la revisión del ODS 11—, el Retiro de CGLU es el espacio para anunciar el proceso estructurado de los 100 días de multilateralismo local. El proceso comenzará el 21 de abril, Día Mundial de la Creatividad y la Innovación, y concluirá el 30 de julio de 2026, convergiendo en una única agenda colectiva que canalice la voluntad política y la visión diversa de nuestras comunidades.
La sesión sobre los 100 días de multilateralismo local reunirá a representantes de nuestro colectivo para debatir los hitos de los 100 días de multilateralismo local y trabajar juntas y juntos para reforzar nuestras posiciones conjuntas.
