Changes at "Official Opening + VLRs and VSRs as Catalyzers for Better Local Public Services: SDGs 6, 7, 9, and 11"

The first VLR-VSR Days 2026 session will showcase how VLRs and VSRs can serve as catalysts for improving local public services and accelerating the achievement of the SDGs under review at the 2026 HLPF. Beyond their monitoring function, the session will explore how these tools support evidence-based policymaking, strengthen accountability, improve coordination across levels of government, and help align planning and financing decisions with the needs of local communities.
