Cambios en "Estrategia de difusión para un movimiento inclusivo "

Avatar: Xavi Castellanos Xavi Castellanos

Descripción (English)

  • -

In a context marked by growing fragmentation, declining trust in institutions, and increasing distance between global decision-making and people’s everyday realities, local and regional governments are uniquely positioned to reconnect multilateral processes with communities. Building on UCLG’s role as the global voice of local and regional governments, the session “Outreach Strategy for an Inclusive Movement” will provide a strategic space to reflect on how UCLG can further strengthen its outreach and advocacy capacity, placing particular emphasis on the added value of UCLG’s regional sections as key bridges between global agendas and local realities. The session will explore how regional sections can be further empowered as hubs for political dialogue, mobilization, and knowledge exchange, enhancing their capacity to engage members, partners, and communities in a more coordinated and impactful way.

The final day of the Retreat will invite participants to consider how outreach, trust, and credibility can be strengthened as foundational elements of an inclusive, people-centered movement capable of influencing global debates and renewing multilateralism from the local level.
